A street in the industrial area of Bonn, faceless, inconspicuous, unfinished. Warehouses, construction sites and car washes dominate. But little by little, the gray present of the street becomes charged with its past, which is linked to one of the worst racist attacks in German post-war history. Are public memorials collective remembering or collective repression?
